feel free to skip over this. i’m only crying, “wolf!”
run away from popular thought. it is probably wrong.
lower taxes will generate more tax revenue. higher taxes will cut jobs.
we don’t see this because it goes against the legend of FDR.
FDR is that great man who “saved” us from the depression.
we only climbed out of the depression when we were swept into WWII.
what kind of catastrophe with bring us out of this?
will obama be seen as the next FDR?
what kind of propaganda will our children be subject to?

ryc: thanks, B.
every time i see a post like this,,, i cant help but wonder,,, it dont look pro ears,,, is it suggesting mcpow? i didnt see mcpow mentioned,,, hahahahaha,,, so i wont accuse,,,, just a question.
i try to always put in a disclaimer in my posts,,,, a bashing of one is not an approval of the other,,, i approve of,,, well,,, earlier i told someone my cat,,, good as any,, and better than these two for sure.
and popular thought,,, hahahahaha,,, its popular because it is planned that way,,, implanted in your mind,,,, i wouldnt use the word probably,,,,, thats just me tho.
@mejicojohn - in an election like this, you can’t afford to vote for the “person”. john mccain is a politician, just as much as obama is a politician. they are both figure heads, representing rhetoric and ideals. we vote on our ideals, then it is our responsibility to hold them to their word. i will vote for mccain because of what he would be willing to if we forced him. i’m not voting on the candidate that i believe is a good person. the cult of personality will suggest that we should elect the humble and polite man. what we need is a hot, sterile knife.
well,, someone strong for sure,,, i think neither are strong,,, mcpow,,, got his name from me for surrendering once,,, what makes you think he wont do it again,,,,,
what would i have done if surrounded by however many gooks had him surrounded? i dunno,,, but im not running for commander in chief of the u.s.
will i vote for mcpow??? no one could ever convince me to do so….. will i vote for ears??? see the previous statement.
good,,, dont really matter,,, patriotic,,,, uh,,, kind of matters,,, fair and unbiased judgement would help,,,, neither match this criteria.
hahahaha,, mcpow gave a pretty good speech at the convention,,, i heard most if not all of it,,,
took him,,,, what??? a week to perpetrate the same crime he was gonna go after once he was elected,,,,,,, hahahahahahaha,,,, how short is our memory anyway??? when someone makes a statement to me,,, they better not be lying,,, or total respect is lost,,, mcpow lost what he gained,,, he will never recover it,,,, ears,,,,, yea,,, were in trouble,,, hahahahahaha
@mejicojohn - i think you’re looking for honest man. you’re pobably looking in the wrong place.
hahahaha,,, yea
Trickle down economics.
Only if he pushes to create nuclear power plants galore and manages to create thousands upon thousands of jobs.
You are right about taxes. Why can’t someone just get behind the fair tax?
@RozieD - trickle down economics has become the brunt of a lot of jokes, mostly by people who don’t really grasp the idea. i wouldn’t call it “trickle down”, because it makes it seem like the lower taxes were for the rich in the first place. if you look at it from a worker’s stand-point, you want the company you are working for to pay lower taxes. there are countries that are now lowering their corporate tax rates to compete with the U.S. that means it would be more profitable for, say, a shoe factory to move to ireland because they have a lower tax rate. that means all the workers in the U.S. lose their jobs, and there are fewer people who pay into the tax system. higher taxes bring in a lot of money, but they are always followed by a recession. we need sustainable growth.
@thestandards - people do get behind the fair tax, they just didn’t win the primary. the more we talk about it, though, the more likely we are to see it in our life-time. i would even settle for a flat tax of around 15%
I don’t have kids, so I’m not too worried about propaganda exposure on mine.
