i watched “father of the bride” with the girlfriend. i usually can’t pass up a steve martin movie. it did seem that they took the sappy moments from every steve martin movie, and crammed them all into one single, yuppy, tear-jerker. i have no time for sappy movies. i also have no time for sappy television shows. extreme makeover: home edition, can burn with the rest of them. i will never cry to the cue of ryan seacrest’s annoying, toolish voice.
that being said, i LOVE sixteen candles.

I’ve never seen FotBride. Either version. I love Roxanne and Spanish Prisoner. Those are probably my favorite Martin movies.
I’ve never seen FotB or 16 Candles, and I don’t think I’ll risk liking either one.
