i was in a car accident on monday.  i've never had an airbag go off on me before, much less both of them.  the only way you would ever know it happened is from the gunpowder burns on my arms, and even those are fading.

my van was a total loss

the kid's truck had a small dent

    edit:

    i'm fine, nothing life-changing

    be entertained

buying plane tickets only a week in advance is never a smart thing to do.  what type of quality should i expect form US Airways?  my whole existence, it seems, has been tossed into complete confusion.

AriZona's "Arnold Palmer" is not quite what i'd imagine mana tasting like, but i do get the feeling that if ever i was to ingest the food of God, i might just want to wash it down with something of that sort.

    so many goings on

    random thoughts:

    1.  how many cars would americans have to take off the road, in order to negate the number of cars put on the roads by china and india (who has signed the kyoto protocol)?

    2.  i'm really glad that my pastor declined to mention the 4th of July in his sermon today.  when you come from a church that is fond of singing "battle hymn of the republic", it's refreshing to sit back and remember that patriotism is really only a hobby compared to our commitment to christ.

    3.  all of my friends are getting married.  this leaves me in a very awkward, everyone's waiting for me to tag along, position.

    4.  it's easier for me to talk to people from my parents generation.  they may have ruined america with their childish attitudes (and still are to an extent), but i have a hard time connecting to people my age.

    5.  it's not worth caring about your lawn in this kind of heat.
