I'm not for Obama, but what about McCain and his lust for war? Is that not too contemptible?

i actually even believe that we would resolve the conflict in iraq faster with mccain, than we would if a democrat was in office. my reasoning for that being, before our now largely successful troop surge, mccain was calling for a substantial increase in our troop levels in iraq. since the beginning of the surge, we have seen the most violent areas of iraq turn into the most peaceful.
I do not understand how you could call any war "successful", especially as a Christian. And if your idea of a turning a violent area into a peaceful area is by dropping bombs, killing "terrorists" (we are in THEIR land, you know...how would you react to an Iraqi invasion?) and innocent men, women and children, then I do not want that "peace", because it sounds an awful lot like an evil empire to me.
