Viva Obama!
this video made me feel reall good about Obama, maybe the next one will highlight all of his good ideas
it's apparent to me now, that "we can" ....do what?
this video tells us that it isn't about healthcare (which should be free i guess), or college tuition [(which he feels is part of the governments responsibility to help us pay) hello college vote!], or this crazy evil war (wouldn't it be great if we could wave a magic stick and have all of our troops home, and the world would finally love us again? i mean actually love us?!), no it's about bringing people together to fight the biggest problem in america; politics. that's right, politics is more important of an issue than healthcare, social security, the war against terror, abortion, lowering taxes, and improving our economy combined! doesn't that make you feel all good inside!
if he doesn't agree with someone who supports the war in Iraq, wouldnt' that mean that he is on a different side as that person? just curious... oh, and one voice can change the world, so this is me doing my part.
shocking!

You KNOW that any candidate that has Hollywood's backing is the candidate to vote for! And throw in class warfare? Wonderful video. I'm glad he stands for so much... as opposed to sitting down. Quicker to dodge the bullets. Yes we can!
I'm baaaaack...
Eddie Winslow. Childhood hero. Only reason I need.
But I will list others: Tyra and Landry from Friday Night Lights, George Lopez, and
that weird cousin of Juliete's, who crushes the cigarette with his boot at the gas station,
in the 90's version of Romeo and Juliete.
YES WE CAN! haha
hello, brazos
well I really really liked the viva obama one...because I love all things spanish and I could understand most of it which made me proud.
All the videos are really inspiring, but it IS bothersome that that senator couldnt name one legislative accomplishment of obama. i don't know quite what to make of that. i like the way obama speaks though. i am less interesed in the promises of a president than in their presentation and their personality because to be honest, i don't think the president can really accomplish very much.
I agree with Clayre mostly. But Obama does have one thing going for him that none of the other candidates do - he opposed the war from the beginning. I was suckered in and lied to and fooled again and supported the invasion back in the day. Hillary did too because she saw which direction the political winds were blowing back then. Her flip-flop on the war is exactly why I've always been against her. She is soooo political, I don't believe a word she says about anything.
Obama's got cred with me for opposing the war from the beginning. If Hillary gets the nomination, I shall be a McCainanite without question. Hillary = yucky, yucky
Good, thoughtful post. *bows*
So many videos.
He's not a false idol. I hope you were kidding. I don't worship him.
RYC: Oh good.
I was feeling a little sensitive about all the people who get the dumb email forwards about Obama and then act like they are the gospel.
ryc: I don't really know how to feel or think. I am all conflicted inside
I am so unenthusiastic about this election. There is not one candidate we can like, our votes feel defined by who we hate the most. A nation divided cannot stand against itself. I will put that book on my wishlist. I'm not spending right now. Later, I will read it, because I want to know everything about everyone.
The left can be so stupid sometimes. Just like the right.
Politicians :shudders:: see what happens when you give people rights!
